Mac Cubase - Selected Channel Scenes Not Working

Hey there,

Really excited about the new Cubase/Nuendo integration, through which I found MetaGrid and picked up a license. I’ve got the Cubase Workspace preset installed on my iPad. I’m on macOS Sonoma on an Apple Silicon Macbook using Nuendo 13. The only issue I seem to be have is with the Selected Channel grids. No track information is transmitted and none of the track controls work. The other scenes work fine, and the non-track controls (transport, nudge, etc…) all work fine on the Selected Channel scenes. It’s just the track controls that don’t work.

I’ve tried restarting the MetaServer, Metagrid, and Nuendo. I’ve also tried switching from a UDP connection to TCP. Hoping to get some advice on a fix.

In the MIDI monitor I see MIDI events for in on the Cubase Sync port, but nothing out.

I double check the DAW setup guide for my settings. I can only share one image in the post. I can share other screen shots in comments if that helps.

So I assume you have added the MIDI Remote devices, right?

Any error message in the MIDI Remote Manager console? And what’s the MetaServer version you are using? Does MIDI messages going from MGP to Cubase are reflected in Cubase UI (e.g. volume/pan changes)?

I wasn’t seeing any errors in the MIDI Remote console. I decided to reinstall the MetaServer and apps, along with my computer. That resolved the issue.
