Cubase DAW Integration Actions Don't work for me anymore for some reason

Hi, None of the DAW integration actions work in Cubase 14.0.32

2. Steps to Reproduce

  • Step 1: …Press the button with the DAW Integration action
  • Step 2: …The action doesn’t work
  • Step 3: …Use a Mouse to perform the actions instead

Expected Result:
Press the button for StartStop and Cubase Starts. Press it again and Cubase stops

Actual Result: Nothing happens

Device Information

  • Operating System (OS version):MACOS 15.6.1
  • MetaGrid Pro version: 1.6.10 34075.
  • MetaGrid Pro Server version: 5.3.0
  • Device Model (e.g., iPad, Mac):iPad 10 18.6.2, Macbook Pro 16 2021 M1
  • Affected software version (e.g., Cubase 14): Cubase 14.0.32

7. Additional Notes

They did work at one time in the past. Custom Key Commands work. All Metagrid Pro MIDI Remote Scripts have disappeared From Cubase and I don’t know why?

This is a known issue on Steinberg’s end. Maybe hit the Steinberg forum and report the bug.

Thanks. reinstall MR’s all over again. seems like I knew that and just needed to here myself to work it out.

I’m writing this to get my mind to grasp what is going on with this.

So I’m looking at reinstalling MIDI Remote Scripts. The iCloud Documents folder has the path described in the setup guide, starting with “Steinberg”, but I have a folder in Documents called “Documents - pauls MBP” which also contains the “Steinberg” path.

Both paths no longer have the “Metagrid Pro” folders in “Local” for some reason. So I would assume Cubase replaced this path with the default or original one.

I looked up “iCloud” in the Forum and found the issue with Backups disappearing , but I don’t think it is related.

Meanwhile all the Generic Remotes are still intact.

I put the “Metagrid Pro” folder in both locations and restarted Cubase and the MIDI Remote is back.
