Why is there no install option for MIDI Remote or PLE/LE Presets ?
Thanks for the screenshot. MetaServer is detecting Cubase 15 correctly and the Cubase MIDI port is already enabled, so this is not a Cubase-detection or MIDI-port problem.
The section shown in your screenshot is the integration status summary. In MetaServer Windows 6.0.3, the installation controls are located farther down on the same page:
- Scroll to the bottom of the Cubase integration page.
- Expand Technical Details.
- Open the Components section.
- Click Install for:
- Selected Channel script
- Commands script
- Logical Editor presets
- Project Logical Editor presets
- After all four components show as installed, restart Cubase so it reloads the scripts and presets.
You can then configure the two MIDI Remote surfaces in Cubase:
- Open Studio → MIDI Remote Manager.
- Add the MetaGrid Pro – Selected Channel surface and assign the Metasystem – Cubase Sync input and output ports.
- Add the MetaGrid Pro – Commands surface and assign the Metasystem – Cubase input and output ports.

One additional point: the MIDI Remote surfaces provide the modern command and Selected Channel integration, but the LE/PLE workflows also use the Generic Remote macro devices. After installing the presets, follow the LE/PLE Help Guide pages to finish that part of the Cubase setup.
If the Install buttons are still absent after expanding Technical Details → Components, please post a screenshot of that expanded section.
