I’m excited to start using MetaGrid. I use Windows 11, Cubase 15, and an iPad Pro. I bought the iPad because I learned that MetaGrid has become more responsive to Windows users. I use LoopMIDI because not all of my programs have migrated to the new features of Windows’ new MIDI services, which themselves are still unfinished and cause a lot of problems. I installed everything (MetaServer 6.0.2, MetaGrid 1.7.1) and purchased a premium subscription. However, as I understand it, the generic remote macros that come with the MetaServer installation aren’t configured with the Cubase profile that opens with the purchased MetaGrid subscription. I manually linked the play button on MetaGrid and Cubase to test this, but I’d like to have a pre-configured macro for these programs. Is this possible? If so, where can I get one? And one more question, if I may. Is it possible to install MIDI Remote in Cubase on Windows using LoopMIDI? I think the new 1.7 version says so, but as far as I understand, it requires the new Windows MIDI services, which I’m hesitant to install because of the problems they cause.
I should also mention that some pages with program settings don’t work. They give an error when opened.
