Hi folks. I’ve run into a Cubase thing on Mac that has me scratching my head. I’m not sure it’s a Metagrid problem, may just be a Cubase thing, since I did the Metagrid update and the Cubase upgrade to 15 at the same time.
When I open or create a project in Cubase, I noticed that many of my Metagrid commands weren’t working. I looked in the MIDI Remote Manager, and the Commands controller is greyed out (seen here in Cubase 14).
I hit Reload, after which it worked fine. There are additional Metagrid controllers seen in this window that are also disconnected, but I don’t remember if it was that way before.
After closing the project and moving on to the next one, the same thing happened, in both Cubase 14 and 15, and it’s the same thing every time. I’ve tried removing the Commands script and redownloading, but get the same result. Not a big deal now that I know how to work around it, but it’s still a little annoying, anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
