Cubase 14 creating submenus Metagrid Pro

Hi there,

Just making my custom grids for Cubase 14 ( Windows 10 ) and searching for tutorials how to create a button on my grid which serves as a “submenu button” , how to switch and recall my different Cubase grids apart of using “scenes” grids ?

Question 2: Is there a chance to replicate " Plugin Search" function like in Logic?

I would like to assign a button on a grid for my favorite VST instruments, i know there is a way to create a Macro with certain key commands and Cubase presets, but unfortunately i did not succeed.
( The trouble was doing it via Cubase VST presets somehow and adding navigation arrows )

My starting point was this video from Paul

Any help would be much appreciated!

The easiest way to have a button call up a grid is to use the Secondary Action - Display Grid.
It would be nice if we could have a menu button be able to summon different grids, but I haven’t found a way to do this. It would be good if Metagrid would make displaying grids available in the Macro functions, but currently it does not.

The macro action for displaying grids and other things will come in MGP 1.7.
