Nuendo Macro list (not PLE/LE/MG macros) is not updating in MG

1. Summary/Title
Changes in Nuendo Macro’s not showing in Metagrid

2. Steps to Reproduce
If I add a Macro in Nuendo using the KeyCommands window (Edit → Key Commands…), that Macro is not among the list of Macro’s I can choose from in MetaGrid. Some Macro’s are there, but not my own. I can add them as a Menu Command though, but why would there be a list of Macro’s in the list at Actions → Add.. → Cubase → Macro ?

3. Expected Result
I’d love to see that list updated.

4. Actual Result
The list of available commands in the Macro category only contains the 5 macro’s Nuendo is shipped with, but not the ones I added later.

I am afraid these are not updated in MG Pro, the only way to use them is to program the two xml files that come with MG and use the macros inside MG to target that specific Nuendo macro (in the bottom screen of the xml device).

That’s odd, because Macro’s I made before are included. For example the “Colorize BigPack MARKERS” macro (see attached screenshot) is one I made months ago.

It’s the new ones that don’t work. Could it be that MetaServer is looking to the Nuendo 13 folder maybe?

You need to restart MetaGrid Pro and MetaServer to propagate the changes in Generic Remote devices. I know it is sub-optimal but we didn’t want to implement any additional checks for the file content on your hard drive.
