NEW VERSION NOT FULLY WORKING (several issues)

Hey I am having several issues in setting this up.

  • DYNAMIC TRACKING OT WORKING - I noticed it was disable in Grid Editor, so I have had to enable it and there was no title, so I had to add it myself. However, it doesn’t always work and most of all I don’t know how to have the channel section opening. It looks in your PROMO videos it opens even when I don’t open a channel window
  • CHANNEL NOT WORKIN - It does not update or work at all
  • CHANNEL A and B - What is the difference?

I am using win 11 and Cubase 14

I have noticed that CHANNEL (a) and (b) do receive some information now (I have found on the FORUM somone that added as a title for DYNAMIC TRACKING @channelSelect and that made it work. However, the CHANNEL (both A and B) do not send info back to CUBASE and the fader is blacked out. No info is diplayed on MetaGrid, however if I change the panning or the REC ENABLE on Cubase it does get sento metagrid and it changes (not viceversa though)

Hi,

To have bidirectional function working, you have to enable Dynamic Focus Tracking in the Grid Edit Menu itself and probably with some renaming grids (?).
( I reckon before in MG it was automatically done but after latest updates i had to enable it manually , searched like crazy to solve things out).

For now i have got Focus on : Midi, Mixer, Selected Channel, but not on Project Grid.
Doing it manually.

In your case only Cubase OUTs are working , Cubase - to Mgrid.

Double check Cubase INs in Midi port setup of Cubase and in the Metaserver. Sometimes its buggy.

So I managed to have DYNAMIC FOCUS TRACKING, however the channel does still not respond.

all the MIDI IN / OUT and CUBASE IN/ OUT are set correctly.

When I change the panning on the CHANNEL, it does change on the iPad, but not VICEVERSA. Also the FADER (on the iPad is blacked out)

@lollomarino @ivan_jochner please email us at help@metagrid.app - we will do our best to diagnose it there.
