Cubase 14 no focus control selected channels windows 10

Hi,

Just recently discovered that my MG pro is not switching to scene grids based on selected channels. ( Mixer, Midi etc ) on Cubase 14. It reacts only on volume slider, pan changes.

I did not use Cubase for a while but previously i remember it did work with switching.

For now my setup as follows:

Ipad 6 , Metaserver 5.1.4., Metagrid 1.6.8. ( Build 29171 ).

  1. Everything is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. ( or USB ports ).
  2. Tried the same scenario on different laptops.
  3. Tried older versions of Cubase 12-13.
  4. Checked all folders for Metasystem resources and Midi port setups. Generic remote Metasystem 3 installed.
  5. Enable scene switching and Enable Dynamic tracking are ON in Ipad Metaserver.
    No luck.

Metagrid reacts on switching to my computer screen changing grid, but not working in Cubase 14 when changing view Midi, Mixer, Channels.

I presume its not something Cubase updated like with TAB knob function recently, cause old versions of Cubase with MG focus don’t work either.

Any help is appreciated !

Ok, so i partially sorted out the problem, somehow i dont know WHY, dynamic focus control had to be enabled from WITHIN GRID EDIT, not just option switched in Ipad Metaserver as it was before?

( Possibly there was kind of update of MG and some functions were automatically disabled).

For now Cubase Grid switches to Mixer, Key editor, Midi

But Channel settings and Project are still not. Probably need to be renamed ???
