MGP 1.6.1 Unusable Here

It took me all of 5 second with 1.6.1 Gold Master to see some glaring (literally) issues.

1. Grids that are triggered via incoming MIDI, in most cases, are only displaying the background and zero actual objects. Although, if I repeatedly trigger the grid it will eventually display properly.

2. Half of my buttons that use the Radial three tone gradient were luminous (extremely bright) and changing the transparency didn’t do anything. So that’s potentially days of rebuilding work there.

3. And something is going on with Editing mode. I would go to press a button to find that I am somehow now in Editing Mode even though the top bar would not indicate this i.e. no ‘Tick’ ‘Done’ ‘Style’ icon etc. As if the iPad’s hot corners were super sensitive or something.

Luckily iTunes restored my iPad with 1.6.9.

This is why there should be a TestFlight with 1.6.9 at the ready so your loyal customers are not dead in the water for another 3 months while it gets (or doesn’t) get fixed. That’s why you probably need me as a beta tester guys.
