MetaGrid Pro 1.6.11 Quick Fix is on the way!

:glowing_star: MetaGrid Pro 1.6.11 is on the way!

We’ve been working hard over the weekend :flexed_biceps: to prepare a Quick Fix release that builds on 1.6.10. The update has already been pushed to Apple for review :rocket:. It will first reach our beta testers, and within about a day it should be available for everyone on the App Store.

Here’s what’s new in 1.6.11:

IMPROVED

:sparkles: “Skip All” for Preset Suggestions – quickly dismiss all suggestions at once and get straight to work.

:sparkles: Object swapping in Edit Mode – drag one object over another until the preview frame turns green, drop it, and both objects swap positions. The interaction is now smoother and more reliable.

FIXED

:white_check_mark: Smarter grid selection & switching – fewer unwanted auto-switches, better respect for your manual choices.

:white_check_mark: Correct layout after closing Content Manager – Grid-Only layouts now return with the right Edit Mode appearance.

:white_check_mark: No unwanted grid change during assignment – assigning a grid to a button no longer alters what’s displayed.

:white_check_mark: Hot Corners disable honored – disabled Hot Corners now stay disabled.

:white_check_mark: Common Grids show up reliably – always available in Grid Selector lists and for scene/button switching.

:white_check_mark: Radial gradient backgrounds – buttons now render correctly with Border/Glow enabled.

We want to thank all of you for your patience :folded_hands: and for sharing feedback that helped us track down these issues quickly. Your input makes MetaGrid Pro better every day.

:high_voltage: Update 1.6.11 will be in your hands very soon! :tada:

FYI, If MGP receives 2 identical ‘Display On Incoming MIDI CC’ messages simultaneously, the result is an empty grid with just the background - not even a side bar. This is problematic because Cubase sends Raw MIDI to Bome in order to activate grids based on what channel I have selected. All my strings tracks use the same grid. So if I select 2 or more strings tracks at the same time in Cubase, I get a blank grid.

Ahhh, that sheds new light on this issue - have you checked if the issue is still on 1.6.11 Beta / 1.6.11 release version?

Confirm it still happens with 1.6.11.
