I raised this subject on the old Metagrid forum, but never got an answer, so I will try again here. I have 3 Ipads, of which two are old and can only run metagrid Classic - they contain over a hundred Grids and so are important to me.
If I try to use Metaserver 5 the Metagrid will not load. It crashes as soon as it tries to make a connection in USB or wireless. No eroor message, just a brief moment of the circle connection animation and the a crash to the ipad desktop.
Metaserver claims to support Pro and Classic on Windows, but in my case it does not. None of my three instances of Metagrid classic will load.

I have to use Metaserver 4.0.0 in order that my Classic and Pro versions will work together. It also means that I cannot upgrade my Metagrid pro as I would like. It also means I can’t pay a subscription.
I am aware that I am not the only one in this position. I have supported Metagrid since its inception - I even go back to the old QB5. Please do not turn your back on us long time users. I understand, but am disappointed by, the introduction of subscription. But I need to know your products, both old and new, can work together. before I can commit further.
