Hi, just starting using MGP with another DAW - Mixcraft.
It works for basic stuff but i wanted to know how to make a bidirectional reflection like in Cubase , especially for Volume selected track and Pan.
The Mixcraft developers say i need to enable Mackie protocol somehow and i think it will require extra script for that?
Any help is appreciated
I can’t speak for the folks who write the code, but Mackie protocol is proprietary. You can find documentation for it on the internet, and as I recall a significant amount of it (the text labels, for example) are sysex messages, which would be a problem with this app. There might be ways around some of it, but also: App support is no small thing. And if Mixcraft requires Mackie protocol, that may be a limitation on their part. Best of luck!
