Metagrid Pro can't find my computer on my network

Hello!
First, the MetaServer_Win_5.1.6.zip you download from “https://metagrid.app/metaserver/metaserver.html” contains version 5.1.7.
I don’t know where to download the actual 5.1.6 version, which is the one Metagrid Pro indicates in its “What’s New: Quick Fix Release” section.
In any case, this 5.1.7 version doesn’t work with MetaGrid Pro 1.6.13.
I’ve reverted to Metaserver V5.1.5, but it works with interruptions.
Could you please help me?

Connectivity on Windows has always been a PITA. Considering that Windows has a 70% market share, you would think that any developer would prioritise Windows over Mac. But alas, here we are.

With MetaServer 5.1.7 - you don’t see WiFi or USB host?

Hello, sorry for the delayed response.
Both when I open MetaGrid Pro, when I try to add the computer with the QR code provided by MetaServer V 1.5.7, or through manual configuration with the address also provided by MetaServer V 1.5.7, the message is the same in MetaGrid Pro: can’t find this computer on your network.

Solved!
I saw this thread: “https://forum.metagrid.app/t/what-to-do-when-metagrid-pro-can-t-find-your-mac-wifi/136” and, although it’s for Mac, it at least clarified things a bit for me.
I tried it and discovered the problem was the Windows Firewall. With Metaserver v1.5.0 didn’t have any problems, but updating to v1.7.0 did.
I fixed it and it seems to be fine now.
If the problem returns, I’ll let you know.
