Losing connection while Logic bounces

When bouncing anything offline in Logic Pro, Metagrid loses its connection to the Mac repeatedly. Sometimes it’s reconnects correctly and often loses the connection and I have to Refresh.

Do I have something set up incorrectly or is this expected? Can we get that fixed?

We are investigating this - it appears that some Logic screens (related with export) lock the thread in MacOS assigns to MetaServer for pinging the connection status to MetaGrid Pro and this is causing the disconnection. We have reached to the Logic team - and in MGP 1.6.9 will use some temporary solutions (exclude the connection check in Logic Pro windows).

I’m still getting a lot of dropped connections in and out of Logic Pro. I can’t seem to find a consistent trigger for it. Most often it’s while I’m bouncing offline in Logic, but not always.

Any progress on that front?

Are you on the latest MGP/MetaServer?

I think so… 1.6.9 build 30697 for the app, 5.2.4 build 2836 for the server.
