Latching Switch Question

I have a Logic Pro template that includes a button that mimics the play button, and using a latching switch changes the “back to beginning” button to a stop button, just like Logic Pro. What I’m trying to do is have this “back to the beginning” button also have this same behavior when the record button I created is activated. I’ve tried all combinations of leaders and followers, but can’t seem to have both the play button and record button successfully change the “back to beginning” button to the stop button. Is this possible?

The only way I have found to get Latching Switches to be in the state I want them is to toggle them via incoming MIDI coming from Bome MIDI Translator Pro. So any button can set any state of any of your Latching Switches. I use BMTP to reset grids to their default state upon opening. So if I have e.g. 10 different Latching Switches, they are all reset.

Hi the similar question i have in my Cubase 14 ,

So, i would like to mimic the Q-link knob, if i switch it on Cubase it will be latch switched and shown in MGP.
For now its only working in one direction , i switch on MG and then it switched in Cubase, but not vice versa.
Does this mean it will be working only with the help of a Bome Midi ?

Cheers !

I tried to get Q-Link working but it doesn’t seem to transmit anything to BMTP unfortunately. I’ve found that many of the items in Cubase’s Tool Bar don’t transmit anything when they are clicked. IIRC, I tried with Snap also.

Unfortunately @JTB is right - these items don’t send any feedback from Cubase.

You would need the feedback from Logic for this - currently not possible I am afraid - until we make the custom controller script for Logic Pro.
