Hello, now my metagrid found my plugins (great job), I have a little problem when adding a plugin in the Cubase insert slot :
1 cannot use “First Free” cause metagrid always say that all my inserts (16) are populate even when there are no plugins in the insert slot.
2 when I choose “User Selectable” Metagrid show me my insert slot I choose the first free and then Metagrid ask me if I want replace the plugin (no plugin in this insert)… Well looks like the same as 1 Metagrid always think my insert are full of plugins…
Thanks for the report. This may be related to the language used by Cubase for empty insert slots. MetaGrid Pro 1.7.3 recognizes several localized versions of the “No Effect” empty-slot label, but your Cubase localization may use a string we do not currently recognize.
Which language is Cubase using, and what exact text does Cubase display for an empty insert slot? If possible, please copy the text exactly or attach a screenshot showing an empty slot. Please also confirm your MetaGrid Pro, MetaServer, and Cubase versions.
Once we know the exact localized string, we can verify whether it needs to be added to the empty-slot detection list.
French here and a empty slot called “Effet Nul”
Another question : is it possible to have the 5/6/7/8 sends ? and the 9 to 16 inserts ?
Thanks, that helps. We can now identify the likely cause more precisely: your French Cubase installation reports an empty insert slot as “Effet Nul”, and our current empty-slot detection does not recognize that label as empty.
We are tracking this as a separate localized empty-slot bug rather than part of the broader Selected Channel verification thread.
Your question about sends 5–8 and inserts 9–16 is also recorded, but we are treating it as a separate capability request so it does not delay the empty-slot correction.
I will update this thread after we confirm the fix and release routing.
