Can MIDI CC faders receive data?

Hi all. I have a grid with three CC faders for controllers 1, 11 and 21.

They send data perfectly to Cubase and I love them.

Is it possible to have Cubase send the data back to the faders to update their positions like it does for the channel volume in the single channel view?

Sure, you need to create entries in the Generic Remote controller - you can use our metasystem3.xml and assign any parameters you want to control. Do you need any more information on this?

Yes please. I wouldn’t know where to begin. Do I modify some of the existing entries in the xml 3 or do I have to create new ones?

I’m noticing something unusual about this topic regarding Cubase Pro: I created 8 faders on Metagrid Pro using CCs from 31 to 38 (although it could be any number).
What happens is that in Generic Remote mode, after enabling Transmit and Receive, everything works perfectly. I can map the Quick Controls without any issues, and when I move the faders, I see them moving in Cubase, and vice versa.
However, if I do the same thing by creating a Remote Controller on the Remote Control page, the transmission only works from Metagrid to Cubase, but not the other way around.
I’m sure this is an issue with Cubase and not Metagrid, otherwise, Generic Remote wouldn’t have worked.
