Zoom no longer auto-selecting its integration screen

1. Summary/Title
Zoom used to auto select its profile when zoom was the application being opened and used. It no longer does.

2. Steps to Reproduce
Launching zoom will not cause MetaGrid pro to switch to zoom profile. This used to work fine.

3. Expected Result
When zoom launches…metagrid profile should be switching to zoom. All other installed apps switch just fine. I reinstalled zoom profile…did not fix.

Metagrid stays on the MacOS finder profile, not the installed zoom profile.

7. Additional Notes
This used to work and I noticed lately it is not working. All other profiles seem to work just fine. Zoom communicates if I pull it up manually. But it will not auto-switch to show zoom profile when zoom opens. Maybe this occurred on a recent zoom update which does occur frequently.

Zoom changed their installed app name from zoom.us to just Zoom

Thank you for identifying the cause. Zoom changing its application name from zoom.us to Zoom explains why the existing profile stopped being selected automatically.

For now, relinking or recreating the profile using the current Zoom application name should restore automatic selection.

MetaGrid Pro 1.8 will include broader application-linking improvements designed to make profile selection rely on stable application identity rather than one exact application name. This should make integrations more resilient when an application is renamed in a future update.
