I’ve just installed everything that is needed to run Art Conductor with Logic (metagrid pro, plugtools with art conductor in the right folder, etc).
I can see the relevant Art conductor articulation set layout loaded in Metagrid corresponding to the track in logic ,.. however, when I press the keyswitches on the screen it doesn’t switch articulations!
I have made sure to select the right articulation set in Logic, so not sure what is going wrong.
when I switch it manually in Orchestral Tools Sine (I’ve just loaded the full ensemble strings patch, as an example), I can see that Metagrid does display the change in articulation.
It just doesn’t work the other way round pressing the keyswitch from the ipad…
If I’m understanding your problem correctly, it sounds like Logic isn’t receiving the MIDI input messages from your iPad. When you press one of the Articulations on your iPad, do you see the MIDI Input activity happen in Logic’s Control Bar at the top? If not, try going into Logic’s Preferences > MIDI > Inputs and make sure PlugTools input is checked. And make sure the PlugTools input is cabled to “Sequencer Input” in the Environment.
Logic is receiving MIDI input from the ipad, I do get the MIDI activity happening. Just no keyswitching or anything I’m afraid. When going into the environment trying to connect Plugtools input to sequencer input, this doesn’t do anything as well. I’ve made a screenshot of the environment window to be sure I’ve done it ok.
