Restore doesn't erase the internal set-up

Hi
This is crazy. I have my Metagrid set-up on my Ipad and I have created a back-up in iCloud. Now I want Metagrid Pro on my Mac to be an exactly copy of the set-up on my Ipad!
So I run restore from the Settings menu and it warns me, that this process will overwrite everything, but it doesn’t!

How can I erase it and restore my Ipad set-up?

Thanks for reporting this. We need to identify exactly what the restore replaced and what remained.

Before making further changes, please keep the original iPad backup and create a separate backup of the current Mac setup.

Could you please provide:

  • The MetaGrid Pro versions and build numbers installed on the iPad and Mac
  • Your iPadOS and macOS versions
  • The backup filename, creation date and file type
  • The exact steps used to restore it on the Mac
  • Whether the restore process reported successful completion or displayed an error
  • Which profiles or grids from the previous Mac setup remain
  • Which profiles or grids from the iPad backup are missing

A screenshot of the resulting profile list would also help. Please hide any personal information.

If we need the backup itself for diagnosis, please send it privately through support. We need these details before recommending any deletion or reset.
