1.6.2 - import/export/backup issues

Now that I am back an running I got a new surprise: restoring from the iCloud Drive backup didn’t restore any of my custom profiles, making me suspect that they were not backed up in the first place. I will leave this to the devs to figure out, I have local backups of all my files.

But how to import them now? The user’s guide is updated to 1.3, not 1.6.
I am in the Content Manager on the iPad app and my Sibelius profile is not there.
I tapped on the Import button and selected each and all of them, being greeted by nothing more than a black empty dialogue box.

I have manually added the files to the Profiles and Grids folders in iCloud Drive on my Mac and they have sync’d to the iPad. Now, in Metagrid, tapping import then iCloud Drive gives nothing.
I then tried the old way—which btw is what the “current” user’s guide states"—by going to the File app, selecting the profile, then Share, and MetaGrid Pro is not there, anywhere, not even under the three-dot expanded list. Nothing at all!
I tried the second way: copy the item, then go to Metagrid pro and select the Shared option … nothing.

How is this supposed to work?
How does one import profiles?
Also, finally, why was my backup not containing all of those profiles?

First of all, thanks for your patience. Small request on our side - please report each issue separately and give system specs as requested in the template. These will really help us solve the issues. I have no clue what iOS, MacOS, MetaServer etc you are on. Thanks!

    We need to test it - to our best knowledge, there is no way the profiles are skipped during backup/export/import process. Please contact help@metagrid.app and send the links to the respective backups/profiles - we will take it from there.
