Pro Tools - Select Non-Adjacent Tracks Without Using the Mouse

I’m trying to build a macro to Split a Track into Mono, then delete the original track plus the quieter of the two sides. For keeping the Right channel it’s easy… Split Into Mono, P to move up, Shift-; to add the track below to the selection, Delete Tracks.

But, to keep the LEFT channel, I need to select the original stereo track and then skip the Left track and select the Right track before deleting. I tried Deleting the Stereo first, but by doing that the Selection disappears, so using a key command to select the Right isn’t possible.

I can’t find a key command that lets me add to a selection without losing the original selection. Any ideas?

That’s a question for a dedicated PT forum I guess. And if you are on Mac, you are not limited to keyboard shorcuts, you can use the menu command to access any menu commands in PT.

Yeah, you’re right… I’ll check with the DUC.

And yes, I use lots of Menu Commands… we just don’t have quite the integration on MG that SoundFlow does. There are a few things I can’t access without it that I’d use all the time.
