Hi- the newest hot fix 1.6.7 version is very unstable for me.
It is periodically crashing…but more troubling than that, is that when I go to relaunch, it is taking several attempts since it crashes while it’s in the middle of making the computer connection. A few times, I have had to quit Metaserver, launch MGP on the ipad, and then launch Metaserver…then it works.
I had to delete the app at one point, reinstall and then recover my backup on icloud. The overall stability though is gone.
Ben - are you sharing the crash logs with the developers? We can’t replicate the crashes/connectivity issues on our test systems and we haven’t got the connectivity-related crash logs from 1.6.7? There have been no differences in communication code between MGP 1.6.5 / 1.6.6 / 1.6.7. We will do all it takes to figure this out.
I mentioned on another post, I verified that my iPad settings are correct based on your post “How to Share Log Files”…so I’m not sure why you aren’t receiving them.
Should I take the time and manually gather up all of the MetaGrid Pro .ips files I can wee in my analytics/improvements data on my iPad?
There are about 30 files from the last 2 days.
Let me know how to proceed because I want to make sure you are getting the data and not sure why my iPad isn’t automatically sharing it with you…if it is supposed to be doing that.
