Here goes the hot fix for MetaServer for Windows:

  • Fixed a memory leak that could cause MetaServer’s memory usage to grow over time when connected via USB, improving long-term stability and reliability.

That was a pesky and very stubborn bug but we have squashed it :boxing_glove:.

The macOS MetaServer links point to the wrong versions, a 5.2.4 beta from last June instead of the 5.4.2836 stated in the post

I’ve tried to download it again but I still get the old wrong file. Where is the fixed download link?

Can you refresh the page? I can download the current production version from the link above - 5.3.4.3029.

Oh, I already have 5.3.4.3029, but in the link above the version number is 5.4.2836 so I thought a newer version was out; btw, since upgrading to iOS 26.2 I have some Metaserver crashes with my iPad running 1.6.16, that’s another reason I thought a newer MetaServer version was out
