Metagrid Pro running on the same Mac as Metaserver

Hi. I was intrigued by the video you showed of someone running Metagrid app on the same Mac it’s controlling. This looks like it would be a temporary solutions to my recent issues with the ipad app crashing. (I can hopefully use the ipad as an extended screen and put the app window there)

However, I can’t get the app to connect to Metaserver. Do I need to use some sort of loopback connection?

So you have MetaServer running on the same Mac with MetaGrid Pro and MetaGrid Pro can’t find the computer, right? If so, please make sure the WiFi is enabled. Let me know.

I got it connected but for some reason I can’t use touch on the iPad. What I’ve been able to find on the internet says it should be possible. Any ideas?
