I got myself into a real predicament because of the instability of the app. I was organizing and assigning custom icon and using a 24 x 24 grid facilitate this. I started running into a problem, though, whenever I would try to access “Layout” it would crash the app. If I set it to layout mode in different grid then navigated to 24 x 24 grid I could delete an icon before it would crash.
I thought I would be clever and set the 24 x 24 grid as my default so that whenever it crashed it would reopen and I could just delete another icon each time (tedious as it may be). Well… not my best idea… I effectively locked myself out of the app because every time I try to enter edit more it crashes.
The simple solution is to uninstall and reinstall and lose all of the other grids I spent hours building. I’m posting here to both report the bug, caution others in this situation, but also in hopes there is a workaround or backdoor to at least get the grids that I’ve built off the iPad before reinstalling the app.
