Menu items causes crash every time

Whenever I try to set up a macro to use a menu item it causes Metagrid pro to crash. Happens with menu items in both Logic Pro and Guitar pro.

Have tried rebooting Mac and iPad, different grids and workspaces

The crash occurs when I’m trying to select the menu item to add it to the button.

Can you send me the grid or the button (help@metagrid.app). Can’t replicate it on our systems.

Can you Guys give the repro scenario on your systems plus attach the menu buttons here?

Meta Server 5.32, (iMac 19.2)
macOS 14.8 (Spanish keyboard layout)

MetaGrid 1.613. (iPad Air 4)

Using Spark grid, customizing “Check Document Now” button,
while attempting to change macro from default keyboard shortcut to the
corresponding menu command option “Check Document Now button”
Metagrid crashes.

Many times have to use Menu commands because “Keyboard Shortcut” options are limited for lacking characters used in other ISO Keyboard languages.

Can you please enable the logging in MGP’s settings (set it to Trace), crash MGP while selecting the menu commands and send us the log.

  • Operating System (OS version): Sequioa 15.7 on M4 macbook Air
  • MetaGrid Pro version: 1.6.13
  • Metaserver: 5.3.2
  • Device Model (e.g., iPad, Mac): Ipad A16 - IPadOS 18.6.2
  • Affected software version (e.g., Cubase 14): Logic Pro 11, Final Cut pro 11, Guitar 8.

Any time I try to add “duration” commands in Guitar pro or in Logic Pro when I try to select Tracks/Global Tracks/

Logs received with thanks. We have implemented some changes in MetaGrid Pro 1.6.14 - let’s wait for the release and see if it helps.
