Horizontal faders don’t respond consistently

1. Summary/Title
Horizontal faders don’t respond consistently

2. Steps to Reproduce
Create a horizontal fader, then set its orientation to horizontal. The width of the fader (if it were vertical) and the width of the fader bar don’t seem to make any difference.

3. Expected Result
Expected result is that it would track like a vertical fader does.

4. Actual Result

What happens is that the fader often doesn’t respond. It sometimes responds when you tap a spot quickly and then will accept a few moves. Then nothing. Restart doesn’t change it, nor does clearing and redoing the fader.

5. Screenshots or Video (if applicable) In a grid like this the verticals work fine, but the horizontals (which echo the interface of the plugin) don’t.

6. Device Information

This is on every release for iOS and Mac desktop through 1.6.4. First-and second-gen iPad Pro 12.9’s.

7. Additional Notes
Daydreaming about a horizontal fader with a slight arch to it to match how horizontal finger movement is shaped in an arc. If it were two grids in height there would be a minimum of unused screen space.

Can you send the grid to help@metagrid.app?

Will do so shortly. Thanks!

Edit: Uploaded a grid with this issue to help@metagrid.app.

Thanks @dragsquares - issue confirmed with 1x height fader in horizontal mode. Added to the Bug Fix queue for 1.6.x release. Thanks!

For me it was any dimensions of horizontal fader.

I have also noticed that you can’t resize faders if they are single height or single width.
