Any chance to have OneDrive support ?

Awesome look forward to this addition, cheers

Here it is :-). It was tough, though - MS makes things so awfully convoluted sometimes. But anyway, this will complete the support for all major file sharing services.

Cool, Thank you….:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:, use dropbox for now but I have 1To on OneDrive….

Hi - I’ve successfully configured the Google Drive configuration from my iPad, however as a workaround for my sync not functioning well, I’ve taken to attempting to backing up and restoring. On my MacOS, however, there’s no ability to configure a Google Drive cloud connection. If that’s a problem between the chair and keyboard (so to speak) that’s totally fine. Alternatively, is that a purpose-built design element (to only have iCloud as an option on MacOS)?

Thanks much - love the product, and I’d really like to tease out some final workflow elements so that syncs and backups between devices are a no-brainer.

Hi! You’re not missing anything — this is intentional and not a chair-to-keyboard issue :slightly_smiling_face:

On iPadOS, we can support Google Drive because cloud providers allow apps to authenticate and manage their own sandboxed storage in a consistent way. On macOS, however, MetaGrid Pro is treated by Google Drive (and similar services) as a completely separate app from the iPad version.

That means Google Drive would require a separate app registration for macOS, which in turn creates different folders, different permissions, and a different sandbox. As a result, the Mac version would not be able to see or access the Google Drive data created by MetaGrid Pro on iPad — defeating the entire purpose of a shared backup/sync workflow. Unfortunately, this behavior is enforced by the cloud providers and is outside of our control.

Because of this, iCloud is currently the only cloud option on macOS that guarantees a single, shared, and reliable storage space between iPad and Mac for MetaGrid Pro.

The recommended setup is:

– Use Google Drive on iPad if you prefer it there

– Use iCloud for seamless cross-device backups and restores involving macOS

This gives you predictable, no-surprises behavior instead of silently broken syncs.

Glad to hear you’re enjoying MetaGrid Pro

Thanks so much for the quick reply (on this and another burning question I had). You can ignore my email to support!
