This is a bit of a strange one, I set up a new button with “Freeze Midi Quantize s” via the Cubase menus in MGP , the function works, but it seems to also be sending some sort of midi Cc Im using a VST called Triaz and when I hit the button it not only send the “Freeze Midi Quantize” but also pitch shift the Snare ??? My workaround is to assign a keyboard shortcut manually that is working fine
I’ve just put a MIDI Monitor in Cubase. And on the first press, I can see what is being sent I’m guessing this is ordering the sound of the VSTI that I’m using.
The first button press allow is open Quantize panel
Next is Fix Midi Quantize
Have you excluded MetaServer - Cubase MIDI port from In All MIDI in MIDI Setup screen to prevent the feedback and MIDI leaks?

on the left pane - you have MIDI Port Setup Item - just share what it looks like :-).
please uncheck Metasystem - MIDI - In g in the All MIDI column
