I’ve got as far as making macros for Dorico 6 with keyboard shortcuts, text etc. All good.
If, though, I choose something from Daw Integration/Dorico the commands rarely do what they say, sometimes wildly off. e.g. 'Create Clef ’ duplicates the selected note, and ‘Set Focus > Score View’ opens the Arturia Software centre.
The integration for Dorico in MetaGrid Pro is for EN language only at this moment. You need to adjust the grid if your computer is set to other language - you can use keyboard shortcuts etc.
Hi I’m using EN. What’s happening is that most of the macros that I can add via Daw Integration do work, but a lot of them don’t - e.g. Switch Mode > Engrave Mode opens Chrome. Is Metaserver on Windows trying to read my keycommands_en.json file (via setup) or is that legacy? Or are those Daw Integration macros provided by you or a third party and I can’t edit what they actually do?
thanks
EDIT - also, are these Daw Integration Macros still simply applying the relevant key commands or are they connecting to Dorico through its API/Websocket?
Thanks, I was guessing it was a Mac/Windows thing. I’m not so much interested in a full control surface - more some extra buttons for complex macros. MG will still work for that - I was just hoping to save some time with the built in Integration. Fingers crossed for a new update.
