Controlling Dynamic Focus Tracking

I have a main Cubase grid which is the central point with the most common functions laid out. I have buttons in the main grid assigned to switch to other grids(Visibility, MIDI etc.). All my other Grids also have consistent buttons to always take me back to my Main Grid and to other grids as well.

I intend to have a button for Articulation Switching & employ Dynamic Focus Tracking (Track Selection) to display my Articulation Switching Grids based on the track selection. But AFAIK, if DFT is enabled on a Grid, it is displayed immediately when the conditions are met. In my ideal world, I don’t want to leave my Main Grid unless I choose to press my switching buttons(Visibility, MIDI, Articulation etc.)

Is there a way where I still have DFT enabled on all my articulation grids but I only see them when I press the appropriate button on my Main Grid and as long as I stay in any of my Articulation Switching Grids, DFT does its thing based on track selection ?

Thanks,
VJ

DFT doesn’t support additional conditions within one workspace. However, if you move your articulation grids to a separate workspace - the DFT will work as expected and your articulation flow button on your main Cubase grid should activate the Articulation workspace. And then you should adjust all the Back buttons to Activate workspace instead Go to previous grid.

That’s the beauty of workspaces in MGP :-). Let me know if you have managed to make it work for you.
