Can't record CC20 in Cubase

I have the Metagrid Pro Midi Remote running in Cubase 15. I want to be able to record CC20 to control the vibrato in my string library, but somehow the CC20 - send from my Ipad - doesn’t reach the track.
Somebody suggested, that it could have something to do with a Midi Remote script, so my Q is: How can I check if the Metagrid Remote Selected Channel actually is using my CC20 command for something, and if so how can I change it?

How are you sending CC20? With just a fader through MetaSystem MIDI port - or you have a dedicated MIDI Remote for this?

I have created a fader in my Cubase scene and it’s sending CC20. In Cubase the Metagrid Pro Selected channel MIDI Remote is selected.

So it seems that you are using Metasystem MIDI port for the MIDI Remote - please use other MIDI ports for this - let me know.

I use Metasystem Cubase sync in/out
