Art Conductor with Logic 12.3 doesn't work

Hey,
There was this post a month back about the same topic with the same problem. They found like a random solution to my problem but I didn’t.

So I use MetaGrid Pro from my iPad via USB connection to my Mac. General as well as app specific controls work. Logic Pro Shortcuts work too, but Art Conductor doesn’t connect and the Status window in MetaGrid shows always “No Data received”. Art Conductor by itself functions and the shortcuts I set up on PlugSeach work with Metagrid too. So I think it has to do with the error of my Midi Setup from Metaserver to Logic Pro or generally the whole computer doesn’t work. Are there any tips or tricks that are needed to make it work or is it even a complete different problem?

Thanks, Niclas. This appears to be the same case as your report in the existing Art Conductor and Logic Pro topic.

The fact that normal MetaGrid Pro controls, Logic shortcuts and PlugTools shortcuts work confirms that the general MetaGrid Pro–MetaServer connection is active. The remaining failure is specifically in the Art Conductor data path, where MetaGrid Pro continues to report No Data received.

I do actually have the same problem as Zikayan. However I haven’t found a solution yet. Everything is set up. But the Test from PlugTools to Metagrid doesn’t work. However using shortcuts from PlugTools on my MetaGrid profile do actually work, just the connection to Art Conductor doesn’t. Status: No Data received . In my case, I think it has to do with metaserver itself as the logs always shows that the Midi Port Setups do not work. [Bildschirmfoto 2026-08-18 um 01.07.41]

Please add the following information there:

1. The exact PlugTools version and build.
2. The Art Conductor version or patch version.
3. The exact MetaServer Mac version and build.
4. Whether Test Logic Pro Connection succeeds while Test MetaGrid Connection reports no data.
5. The exact MetaServer log lines referring to MIDI port setup failures.

With that information, the PlugTools, Art Conductor and MetaServer boundaries can be compared without mixing this with ordinary Logic or USB connectivity.
