1. Summary/Title
Trouble setting up switching grids via key command or midi CC
2. Steps to Reproduce
-
In Keyboard Maestro I created a macro that sends midi CC 0 ch 2 value 127 and assigned this to an empty button (num pad 1) on my keyboard. I have confirmed using midi monitor that the data is being sent (as “bank select” data). I have confirmed that MetaServer is checked in the midi ports panel.
-
In MGP I set up a grid with “Display on incoming MIDI CC” turned on and sent to the corresponding CC 0 ch 2 value 127. I then switched to a different grid manually and tested this set up by pushing 1 on my number pad. However, I’m getting no response from MGP.
-
I tried with the IAC driver with the online, checkbox engaged and disengaged (restarting my Mac between). I tried restarting MetaGrid, MetaSystem, Cubase, and KBM multiple times as well as switching the midi CC/ch/value a few different times to no avail.
3. Expected Result
I expected the grid to change when it received the mini message.
4. Actual Result
No visible change in MGP, but as I stated earlier, midi monitor was receiving the data.
