Hey everyone,
We completely understand that MetaGrid Pro is not just an app—it’s a tool you rely on for your work. Whether you’re in the middle of a session or deep into your creative process, any disruption can be frustrating, and we take that very seriously.
Some of you have asked why it’s not possible to roll back to previous versions of MetaGrid Pro on the App Store. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t allow users to revert to earlier versions once an update is released. Unlike on Windows, where you can manually install an older build, the App Store always pushes the latest approved version—there’s no official way to downgrade.
We want to assure you that we do everything we can to catch issues before a release. MetaGrid Pro 1.6.5 was in beta testing for over a month, and we ran extensive in-house tests before rolling it out. However, the real world is unpredictable, and sometimes issues only appear once an update reaches a wider audience with different setups.
What We’re Doing Moving Forward
We’re not just sitting back—we’re taking action:
Expanding our Windows testing environment to catch more edge cases before release.
Refining our testing process to ensure even greater stability across different configurations.
Keeping a closer eye on early user feedback to react even faster if something unexpected pops up.
We truly appreciate your patience and support as we fine-tune MetaGrid Pro to be the best tool it can be. If you ever run into issues, please reach out—we’re here to help!
Thanks for being part of this journey with us!
