Purchased Photoshop grid not working in Photoshop 2025

1. Summary/Title
The purchased add-on photoshop grid is not working with Photoshop 2025. It was working just fine in Photoshop 2024. The install of 2025 overwrites / uninstalls 2024.

2. Steps to Reproduce
When photoshop is launched…Metagrid just switches to the general home screen because it does not associate the purchased photoshop grid with the latch of Photoshop 2025. (See uploaded photo)

3. Expected Result
I would like the purchased photoshop grid to just launch and associate with Photoshop 2025.

4. Actual Result
the purchased photoshop grid is not brought up when the app is launched. All apps are updated. latest iOS 18.1.1 and Metaserver 5.1.1.

  • MetaGrid Pro version: 1.6.4 build 27912
  • Device Model (e.g., iPad, Mac): iPad Pro 11" 2nd Generation
  • Affected software version (e.g., Cubase 14): Photoshop 2025

7. Additional Notes
This worked fine in the previous version of Photoshop but once Photoshop updated to 2025…the add-on photoshop Metagrid layout stopped working and won’t associate with photoshop 2025.

It seems that the application name for Photoshop changed during the update. Can you create a new profile for the new version of the Photoshop and see what name it broadcast to MetaGrid Pro. Then delete the new profile and rename the existing one for Photoshop. It should work fine then. Let me know if it helped.

I don’t see where it is broadcasting any name to Metagrid to see. In a list of applications, it is not listed anywhere to select. Perhaps because 2025 installed a new folder in applications and it is nested within that folder?
