MIDI messages from CC/Note On/Off actions are transmitted on MetaSystem - MIDI In/Out port. Can you make sure you have Ableton Live properly configured? Also you can check on the external MIDI monitor (www.snoize.com) if your Mac receives messages on MetaSystem - MIDI port. Let me know.
