🚀 MetaGrid Pro 1.6.6 Hot Fix is Here!

:rocket: MetaGrid Pro 1.6.6 Hot Fix is Here! :fire:

Hey MetaGrid Pro users!

We’ve just released MetaGrid Pro 1.6.6 Hot Fix, allowing all Windows users to roll back to MetaServer Win 5.0.0. :control_knobs::arrows_counterclockwise:

The latest MetaServer Win build ran into unexpected MIDI issues due to Cubase & LoopMIDI on Windows, causing problems for many users. :musical_keyboard::warning: After a long night and day, fueled by tons of coffee :coffee::coffee:, we’ve made progress and are actively working on a universally stable MIDI Remote solution for Cubase on Windows.

:point_right: In the meantime, Windows users can continue using the previous Cubase integration based on Generic Remote devices, which is still fully functional. :level_slider::white_check_mark:

For now, simply download MetaServer Win 5.0.0 from our website, and MetaGrid Pro should be back on track! :white_check_mark:

Thanks for your patience & support! More updates coming soon! :rocket::level_slider:

Hey there, having the same issue as many here. On your web site, I see the “MetaServer Win 5.0.0” text, but there is no download link?

Thank you for the help.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Guys, THERE IS NO LINK TO METASERVER 5.0 on your website :((( Just the plain text.

The link is active - at least on our side. Have you tried to refresh the browser?

It worked today, I downloaded it and… got back to Metaserver v4.0, shared by one of the users. In a two iPads setup Metaserver 5.0 keeps disconneecting on one of my iPads and can’t connect to the second one at all.

Have you tried 5.1.2 Beta released today available in the Resources and Downloads section?

I installed Metaserver 5.1.2 today, when I run Console it says error opening port CubaseSync (without the space), I changed the name of the port to Metasystem CubaseSync - In and the error was gone, however, same result, when I move the volume slider in MGP it does not send anything to the sync port (no activity in loopMIDI) but other commands work!

Nope, I’m afraid I have no time to experiment and join your beta testers :frowning: We’re absolutely into maximum efficiency right now, a lot of things ongoing. Good luck with all the tweaks and I’d seriously reconsider sharing Metaserver as early as 4.0 version.
