I have been unable to get MGP to refresh Keyboard Maestro macros, even after following all the troubleshooting procedures I can find here and re-installing both MGP and KM. It has to be something unusual stopping it from working correctly, but I can’t figure out what that is. This is only on my main computer. My laptop works fine with the same software.
Also, I’m wondering if anything’s been discovered about why MGP isn’t seeing the full list of apps on my computer. Sometimes they all show up, but mostly not and any app-targeted buttons I use don’t work because MGP can’t find the app. Re-starting MGP resolves this sometimes, as does re-booting my iPads, but most of the time the list is truncated down to a dozen or so apps.
I was able to restore functionality with KM and the thing that seemed to fix it was reverting my Pro Tools installation back to 2025.10.1 from 2025.12. This was the case on both my main computer and my laptop. Avid just implemented a major new immersive mixing capability and installing it seemed to really mess with ports all over my machines. Things started acting really weird. Like I said, I’m not positive this was the cause, but that was the solution on both computers.
I should say that changing over my iPads to USB connections solved the app availability issue. The list is incomplete only when I use a wi-fi connection.

That’s a crucial piece of info - we will follow this.
It screwed up my Cubase and Logic MIDI port setup and defaulted a number of standalone VIs back to factory audio settings, none of which are what I use. It might be partially due to their now de facto installation of Soundflow, which added a bunch of MIDI ports of its own. Mainly it was network-related. Devices weren’t communicating with each other correctly and I was getting quite a few alerts regarding one app not being able to find another and security options needing to be activated, a good number of which already WERE activated. After reverting back to 2025.10.1 all of it disappeared. Historically, Pro Tools itself isn’t the issue, it’s Avid’s HD Driver. Trying to figure out what it’s messing with after each update has been a 30-year game of Whack-A-Mole.
