Global Color Replacer coming to MetaGrid Pro 1.6.5

MetaGrid Pro’s Color Replace functionality lets you effortlessly replace all instances of a specified color with a new color across your grid. Whether you’re editing all objects on the grid or fine-tuning a specific component of objects like buttons, faders, labels, or gesture pads, this tool simplifies your workflow.

A Practical Use Case:

Imagine you want to update the fader pre-rail colors and the button text and icons across your grid. Instead of copying/pasting parameters or manually editing each object, you can do it all in just a few taps!

How to Use Color Replace:

  1. Enter Edit Mode: Go to the Edit mode and select any button or object.

  2. Choose the Color: Open the Color Selector and select the color you want to replace.

  3. Tap Replace: In the Color Selector, tap the Replace button.

  4. Select Target Color: Pick the new color you want to apply.

  5. Choose Replace Scope:

• Replace in All: Replaces the source color with the target color across all components of all objects on the grid.

• Replace in Button Texts: Applies the change only to the button texts, leaving other components untouched.

Why You’ll Love It:

This feature lets you make bulk updates to grid objects without the hassle of manual edits. In just a few steps, you can achieve a cohesive design and save valuable time.
