Can't enter Key Shortcuts in Metaserver

I’m interested in using key shortcuts to switch scenes. I’ve enabled ‘Enable Computer Keyboard Shortcuts’ in Metagrid Pro, but when I try to enter the shortcut after clicking the square button, nothing happens. The keystroke is not echoed onscreeen.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

OS: 15.5 (Intel)
MGP 1.6.9 30697
MS: 5.2.4

SOLVED:
In Systems Settings->Privacy & Security->Input Monitoring, I removed Metaserver’s permission and then re-added it. All good now
