The USB connection is unstable — it keeps dropping and triggering silence-based soft reconnects every 10–29 seconds. On Windows, this is caused by missing or incorrect Apple Mobile Device USB drivers. The Microsoft Store version of iTunes doesn’t include them; the standalone installer from apple.com does.

MetaGrid Pro 1.6.18 is being reviewed by Apple and should be out within a day with the fixes we gathered based on the logs from several people who are experiencing connectivity issues.
I don’t understand why this reply is under this topic, my system has been non functional for about a month now on Win 11 latest damn update, I am afraid it will collect dust and I will start using my Avid EuControl more often.
Vicken - we are working on MetaServer 6 for Window that will support native MIDI port creation - but that’s a substantial taks - it is our top priority. We are not responsible for Microsoft fuckups with ensuring backwards compatibility but we will adapt and make MetaServer for Windows compatible with the latest MIDI developments on Window.
