MetaGrid Pro — 2025 Summary | Rebuilding the Core

🎊 2025 was a big year for MetaGrid Pro.

If I had to describe this year in one line, it would be this:

We went DEEP instead of WIDE.

Rather than piling on shiny new features, we spent most of 2025 rethinking and rebuilding the parts of MetaGrid Pro that matter most in everyday use. Some of this work is very visible, some of it happened quietly behind the scenes — but all of it was about making MetaGrid feel faster, clearer, and easier to grow with.

Here’s what that looked like 👇

🧩 Grid Editing

Grid editing was basically reinvented. Building and adjusting layouts is now faster, more direct, and much more fluid — with better selection, smarter actions, and less friction when working on larger setups.

🎛️ Presets

Presets got a completely new system. Finding, importing, and using both free and premium presets is now simpler and more predictable, making it easier to reuse ideas and build on existing work.

⚙️ Settings

Settings were fully redesigned with a new look and many more configuration options. Everything is more structured, easier to understand, and better aligned with how you actually use MetaGrid day to day.

☁️ Sharing & Cloud

The sharing system was rebuilt from the ground up and extended with Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive support — all managed from a centralized place in Settings. Moving grids and presets between devices is now much smoother.

⌨️ Productivity & Integrations

Across the app, improvements landed almost everywhere: redesigned context menus, a keyboard shortcuts catalog and recorder, and deep Cubase MIDI Remote integration for advanced workflows.

Was it a lot of work? Definitely😅 I still can’t believe we managed to deliver all these.

Was it glamorous work? Not always. And definitely not easy.

But this is the kind of year that makes everything else possible.

MetaGrid Pro now is better prepared for what’s next. And yes — some very exciting things are already in the pipeline for 2026. And that wouldn’t be possible without the things we shipped this year.

As always, your feedback, ideas, patience, support and real-world use cases play a huge role in shaping where this goes. We read them, we test them, and they genuinely influence the direction.

Thanks for being part of the journey — the next chapter is already taking shape.

Happy New Year 🥳
