:backhand_index_pointing_right: Update now and dive into MetaGrid Pro 1.6.10.

This is just the start of what’s coming. :rocket:

I only see 1.6.9 in my app, there is no update in the app store.

Please get rid of any and all pop-ups in your app! With every update you release more and more pop-ups are introduced! Do you not understand how much of a workflow-killer this is??

For those who haven’t installed or used 1.6.10 yet, the new annoyance in Metagrid Pro is when you open or “app-switch” in macos to an app that the Metagrid team created a preset for, Metagrid will pop-up a ridiculous box asking if you to install, or test, or demo, etc. Then you’re forced to select one of the options otherwise the box doesn’t go away on its own.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I get that unexpected dialogs can feel disruptive when you’re focused, and workflow interruption is the last thing we want for MetaGrid Pro users.

Just to clarify: the pop-up you’re describing isn’t a random marketing message. It only appears when MetaGrid Pro detects that you’ve switched to an app for which we’ve built a ready-made preset. The idea is to save time — instead of having to dig through the Preset Store or build everything from scratch, you get a one-tap option to install and start working right away.

Calling this a “workflow-killer” is a bit of an overstatement though. The dialog is not meant to stop you, but to help speed things up. That said, we hear you — if it feels more like a blocker than a helper, we’ll look into making it less intrusive, for example by adding an option to turn these prompts off or by turning them into a subtle banner instead of a modal.

Our goal is to support different workflows — whether you like quick preset access or prefer a distraction-free environment. Your feedback helps us strike the right balance, so thanks again for pointing it out.

Bug on Metagrid Desktop version. The when assigning a pop-up menu to a triangle-Dynamic option is does not work. The pop up meny does not open.

It works with the circle ok. And this does not happen on the iPad version.

Totally.
