Feature Request: GIFs And/Or Pulsing Icons, Borders And Backgrounds

It would be pretty cool if we could have GIF style buttons and Latching Switches. A use case would be a PLAY Latching Switch that pulses with an animated arrow :play_button: GIF. Or just the ability to have pulsing icons and/or borders would be a nice step up from the blinking buttons we currently have.

Thank you for the suggestion and for adding the examples. Animated or pulsing icons, borders, and backgrounds could provide much clearer visual feedback for active controls such as Play and Record switches.

MetaGrid Pro does not currently support GIF-based or continuously animated object visuals, but this has been recorded as a product improvement for future consideration. It will need careful design around performance, battery usage, and accessibility, so it is not being assigned to the current hotfix release.
