I’m trying to modify the included AppleMusic Grid to control my Windows 11 PC, and got the above error. I tried restoring purchases but no difference. I do have a Premium (Early Supporter) plan.
Thank you for reporting this. Could you please check whether objects in any of
the other included Apple software grids are also shown as locked when you try
to edit them, or whether this happens only in the Apple Music grid?
Please also let us know whether every object in the Apple Music grid is locked
or only particular objects. This will help determine whether the problem is
related to the Apple Music preset itself or to the Early Supporter premium
entitlement.
Haven’t checked everything, but it seems that only the Play/Pause button can’t be edited.
Thank you for checking. Since only the Play/Pause control is locked and the other Apple Music controls and Apple software grids work correctly, this does not appear to be a general Premium entitlement problem.
Could you please let us know your exact MetaGrid Pro version and build number from Settings?
Please also duplicate the Apple Music grid and check whether the Play/Pause control remains locked in the copied grid. If possible, let us know what type of object MetaGrid Pro identifies it as when you try to edit it—for example, a standard button, menu button, or another object type.
This will help determine whether the problem is contained in that particular bundled preset object.
Copied grid was still locked. Note however in case I didn’t make it clear: I can edit that button – just can’t run it.
