Microsoft have not rolled out the new MIDI Services yet AFAIK. I would like to install MGP 1.7.x ASAP.
Does it work with Loop MIDI? And which Metaserver do I need? And is there anything that I should be aware of regarding MIDI port creation/discovery before saying goodbye to the 98% perfectly working 1.6.19?
I’ve just upgraded and It works with LoopMIDI for me, the only thing is that the Selected Channel Script will not be recognized unless you edit it and change the MIDI port names (see my post about MGP not receiving plugins list from Cubase).
I’m using the latest metaserver that can be downloaded from the site (6.0.2) but I briefly tested 1.7.2 with the old metaserver and it seemed to work
