What’s New in 1.7.3

MetaGrid Pro 1.7.3 improves connectivity, diagnostics, import/export reliability, and everyday editing.

Important: This update requires MetaServer Mac 6.1.3 or MetaServer Windows 6.0.3.

New

  • New Connection Status in Settings provides detailed USB and Wi-Fi diagnostics, recent connection history, discovery information, and support export.
  • Added a Need Help? button on the connection screen for quick access to connection troubleshooting.

Improved

  • Clearer first-time connection setup and guidance when no computer is found.
  • Easier troubleshooting with a diagnostic ZIP package for support.
  • Recommended MetaServer versions are now displayed in Settings.
  • Refresh Cubase and Nuendo Generic Remote macro names directly from the action selector.
  • Improved Logic Pro Dynamic Focus Tracking reliability.

Fixed

  • Improved reliability of custom palette export, import, and backup restore.
  • Fixed an iCloud export crash affecting some backup and export workflows.
  • Paste Style no longer replaces switch macros unless Macro Only is selected.
  • Improved reliability when reordering macros in larger macro menus.
  • Fixed Snapshot Pads in smaller grid slots.
  • Improved stability when editing XY Controller counts.
  • Fixed Text macro editing so the editor remains visible above the keyboard.
  • Additional crash fixes and stability improvements across export, app-specific action selectors, MetaStore, and imported content.
